This sturdy platform with hinged tabs was specially designed for use in the Big Shot and BIGkick machines, as well as the Big Shot Express and Vagabond machines. The adjustable multipurpose platform makes all Sizzix components thinner than a Bigz Die compatible with the BIGkick, Big Shot, and Vagabond machines.
To die-cut or emboss a layer of thin material with thinner Sizzix products (Clearlits, DecoEtch, DecoEmboss, Embosslits, Ink-its, Sizzlits, Plain Impressions, Texture Fades, Texture Shifts, and Textured Impressions), the Multi-Purpose Platform (Platform Base plus Tab 1) along with Cutting Pads is required. To emboss a layer of thin material with Texturz Texture Plates, the Multi-Purpose Platform (Platform Base plus Tab 1) along with an Impression Pad and silicone rubber is required.
To emboss a layer of thick material (or folded card) with thinner Sizzix products (Texture Fades, Texture Swaps, and Textured Prints), the Multi-Purpose Platform (Platform Base only, no tabs) along with Cutting Pads is required. To emboss a layer of thick material with Texturz Texture Plates, the Multi-Purpose Platform (Platform Base only, no tabs) along with a Print Pad and silicone rubber is required.
The Multi-Purpose Platform diagrams and tabs offer simple guidelines on how to make the perfect Sizzix sandwich. Use the Multi-Purpose Platform base, tabs 1 and 2, and Cutting Pads to create a sandwich to accommodate Framelits and Thinlits, as well as competing thin dies.
